TECHNICAL BACKGROUND IN A LEGAL FRAMEWORK:
Alvin S. Weinstein, Ph.D., J.D., PE
Dr. Alvin Weinstein is a Professor Emeritus at Carnegie Mellon University, where he taught Mechanical Engineering and Public Policy. He is a registered Professional Engineer, a member of the Pennsylvania Bar, and a graduate of the Franklin Pierce Law Center, where he taught Products Liability. He has been working in product safety and injury prevention for over 30 years as a technical consultant for manufacturers and as an expert witness. He has lectured internationally on products liability issues. Among his publications is the book Products Liability and the Reasonably Safe Product.
Charles F. Seyboldt, P.E., J.D.
Mr. Seyboldt has degrees in mechanical engineering and law. He has over fifteen years of experience in the transportation industry, having engineering responsibilities covering a broad range of product and manufacturing technologies. He is a registered Professional Engineer and a registered patent agent.
Dianne M. Shvanda, B.S.
Ms. Shvanda holds a degree in Communications Management from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, Syracuse University. She has over ten years experience in corporate communications and marketing and is an accomplished user communications consultant.
